MI16接口

Radio probe interface suitable for use with the MP16 and MP18 probes and one or two radio transmitters (RMM2), allowing programmable channel selection.

THIS PRODUCT IS NOW OBSOLETE. It has been superseded by the RMP60 frequency-hopping radio transmission probe system.

About MI16

The MI16 machine interface processes signals received from the probe via one, or more normally two, RMM2 radio antennae. It also issues control signals to the probe during normal operation and displays system status information.

The reception channel for the MI16 is set by push buttons on the front panel. The RMP2 channel and turn-on mode are programmed by a short-range optical link from the MI16.

The MI16 version required depends on the nominal frequency of transmission, which varies according to the territory in which the probe system will be used:

• 433 MHz (UK, Europe)
• 224 MHz (USA, Japan)
