News release: UK Government Minister gives recognition to Renishaw plc (pdf)

Renishaw received a positive mention in a speech given on February 14th by Ian Pearson, UK Minister of State for Science and Innovation. At a meeting of the Technology Strategy Board, a business focused organisation dedicated to promoting technology-enabled innovation across the UK, Mr Pearson spoke about the importance of Manufacturing to the UK economy, which provides around 3 million jobs, comprises over half of all exports, and despite popular perceptions, is in fact the world’s 6th largest manufacturer.
