ISO 9001
Renishaw's quality assurance system and procedures are audited for compliance with ISO 9001, the internationally recognised standard for quality management systems. Renishaw's certificate of registration to EN ISO 9001 is issued by BSI Management Systems and carries the UKAS accreditation logo. This is your assurance that not only does Renishaw operate procedures to the ISO standard, but the company has been audited and certified by a competent, UKAS accredited, organisation. UKAS accreditation is recognised in many countries worldwide by their relevant national body.

Product warranty
All new RLE laser encoder systems and accessories (excluding software) are covered by a 2 year warranty.
Traceability charts
Renishaw's aim is to deliver the specified accuracy, with full traceability and the confidence that the system will deliver that accuracy day-after-day. All laser encoders are calibrated at the factory using reference artefacts that are traceable to national standards as defined in the traceability chart. Systems can be supplied with a comprehensive calibration certificate. Recalibration services are available from Renishaw service centres in the UK, USA, Germany and China.
Product compliance
Renishaw laser encoder products were RoHS compliant from June 2017. Our declarations of conformity (DOC) and China RoHS certificates for the RLE system and RPI interface can be found on our product compliance pages.
